Who are Cara Aire?

The Cara Aires are a group of 5th and 6th year students who are wellbeing ambassadors in Adamstown Community College.

They are responsible for working to promote a safe, anti-bullying culture in the school. The Cara Aires are a fantastic team of student leaders who are willing to lend an ear and a smile as they are available for any students to speak to if they need advice. They work very hard throughout the year to develop student initiatives to promote positive mental health such as ''Wellbeing Week,'' ''Social Inclusion Week,'' ''Orange Day,''  in conjunction with Cycle Against Suicide, as well as other events throughout the year.

The Cara Aires work closely with the local community with organisations such as Jigsaw. Thanks to the Cara Aire's hard work, Adamstown Community College has earned four consecutive awards for being an Ambassador School for the Cycle Against Suicide as they promote the message, "It's OK not to be OK and it's absolutely OK to ask for help.''
