Welcome to Adamstown Community College

Welcome to the Adamstown Community College school website. It is a great honour to introduce myself as Principal of Adamstown Community College. My career to date has always been involved in education, from a teacher & Deputy Principal in St Finian’s Community College in Swords to Principal of Grange Community College and then of Coláiste Pobail Setanta. In 2018, I became Director of Schools for the DDLETB with responsibility for 31 Community Colleges and 22,000 students.

Adamstown Community College is co-educational and multi-denominational under the patronage of Dublin and Dun Laoghaire Education and Training board (DDLETB).

We are proud of our Ethos & ETB Core Values of Care, Respect, Community, Excellence in Education and Equality and we live them daily.

The college is learner-centred and learners are scaffolded through excellence teaching delivered by talented and experienced teachers. These teachers are also supported by committed SNA’s, knowledgeable secretarial staff and skilled caretaking staff.

Finally, I would like to acknowledge the Senior Leadership Team that I work alongside to help maintain the school of excellence that is Adamstown CC; Ms Halloran, Mr Comiskey and Mr O ’Flaherty. I am very lucky to have such an experienced team.

Adrian P Flynn, Principal.
