Voluntary Contribution & Lockers
We would like to extend a sincere thank you to all parents and guardians who have already paid the €80 Voluntary Contribution. Your prompt support is vital in preparing our resources for the new year. This contribution directly enhances our students' daily educational experience by funding:
Student lockers and electronic swipe cards
Photocopying and subject-specific learning resources
Subsidising school outings and travel to extra-curricular events
Attendance initiatives and additional student support services
Mock examinations and external correction costs
Lockers will be allocated during the first week to students whose contribution has been completed. Payment can be completed quickly and securely online via the school website.
Uniform & Equipment Policy
Footwear Update: Footwear must be all black. No other colors or trims are permitted.
PE Uniform: The official new school t-shirt is the only t-shirt permitted on PE days.
School Jackets: The official school jacket is the only jacket permitted on school grounds, activities, and trips.
Equipment: Students must bring their school bag and basic stationery on their first day.
Lunchtime & Canteen Guidelines
Closed Campus: Students are strictly not permitted to leave school grounds during lunchtime.
Lunch Options: Students may bring their own packed lunch or purchase food via the school canteen service.
Canteen Payments:
Morning Pre-orders: We strongly recommend pre-ordering lunch in the morning, where debit/credit card payments are accepted. Please note: Mobile phones cannot be used for contactless payment.
Lunchtime Orders: Food purchased directly at lunchtime is cash only.
Chewing Gum Policy: Adamstown CC is strictly a chewing gum free school. Chewing gum is not permitted on school property.
Mobile Phone Policy
Adamstown CC is a strict No Phone Zone. If brought to school, phones must be switched off completely and stored in student lockers for the duration of the school day.
Enforcement & Confiscation: If a student is found in possession of a mobile phone or using a phone during the school day, the device will be confiscated immediately. Notification of the confiscation will be sent directly to parents/guardians via the Tyro app.
Collection: Confiscated phones can only be collected from the main school office by a parent or guardian.
Urgent Contact: If a parent or guardian needs to contact a student urgently during school hours, please call the main school office directly.
On behalf of the Senior Leadership Team and all the staff of Adamstown Community College. We would like to thank you for your continued support.
