Attendance Initiative
‘Go Green For 10 Days’
A new attendance initiative for the school term (March – May) has been launched, aiming to remind both students and parents of the importance and benefits of full and timely school attendance. We introduced several rewards to encourage students to maintain a high attendance record and this information has been shared weekly with students during their tutor time and at all assemblies.
The ‘Go Green For 10 Days’ Challenge
To celebrate good attendance, we launched our “Go Green For 10 Days’ initiative! A ‘Green’ day is any day where you are present and on time for every single lesson. Achieving 10 Green Days means two full weeks of perfect attendance and punctuality. Every fortnight, all students who hit this milestone were entered into a draw to win fantastic prizes. Because the draw resets every two weeks, everyone has a fresh chance to improve their habits and win!
We were very excited to see everyone stepping up to improve their attendance and a huge congratulations to all students at Adamstown Community College!
