A message from our Parents’ Council Chairperson
Hello,
My name is Valerie Kane and I was honoured to be elected as the new chair of the ACC Parent's Council for 25/26. We've been working hard this year and have three initiatives to announce that we are very excited about.

First Year Disco
With the help of the TY Events module we are delighted to present the first ever ACC 1st year disco from 18.00 - 20.00 on the 26/3. This will be a free event, hosted in the school to welcome our cohort of 1st year students. The Parent's Council will provide food and drink for the night and we're seeking volunteers to assist with this and to chaperone. Please note, there are no phones permitted at the event (there will be a photo booth for students to get photos taken) and only 1st year students may attend.
Guest Speaker - Tom Coleman
Following the Mocks and with State Exams on the horizon, we thought this would be a very appropriate guest speaker to invite to ACC for our 3rd and 6th year students and their parents on Thursday the 23/4 at 18.00.
Tom Coleman is an expert sleep and health consultant and this presentation will be about sleep, stress/anxiety and give students strategy and science behind effective studying combined with strategies around unwinding and sleep. If you have a child doing a state exam this year and would like to attend, please fill out the form here. Tea/coffee will also be provided
Annual Pre-Loved Uniform Sale
We are currently asking for uniform donations and there is a box left at reception for these. We will also need volunteers to help with the sale on the day. This is always a highlight of the year for the Parent's Council. It directly benefits our parents and students and is always well-attended.
