Admissions to 1st Year 2022
Applications for incoming 1st years 2022 open Friday 1st October and close Friday 22nd October 2021.

The enrolment process for incoming 1st years, for September 2022, opens on Friday 1st October 2021. Applications are accepted up to, and including, Friday 22nd October 2021. Any application submitted after that date will be deemed late. You can apply to the school via an online form which will be available on the website from 1st October 2021. Alternatively, you can fill in a hardcopy application form. This form will be available from the front office of the school but will only be accepted after 1st October 2021. Making an online application would be our preferred method and once the form is submitted you receive a confirmation email.
The Annual Admission Notice has been prepared by the board of Adamstown Community College in respect of the admission of students to the school for the school year 2022/2023. This notice was published on 20/09/2021.

Thank you for the many queries about the Admissions process to 1st year 2022 in Adamstown Community College. Our application form for 1st year 2022 will be made available online from 1st October. Parents/guardians will have a 3 week window to apply. Normally we hold an in person Open Night in school however due to current restrictions this cannot take place. APPEAL UNDER SECTION 29 OF THE EDUCATION ACT
An appeal may be made to the Department of Education and Skills in respect of a decision by the Board of Management of Adamstown Community College, as defined in the Education Act 1998, or by a person acting on behalf of the board of management, to:
a) permanently exclude a pupil
b) suspend a pupil for a school for a period which would bring the cumulative period of
suspension to 20 school days in any one school year
c) refuse to enrol a child
